After specializing in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Getafe (Spain) and obtain the United State Medical License Examination (USMLE), he moved to the United States to super-specialize in two of the most prestigious clinics worldwide: University Hospital of Chicago and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (USA).
Dr. Maldonado has more than 55 scientific indexed publications (ORCID: 0000-0002-3703-5667). In addition, he is Adjunct Associated Professor at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, USA) and Professor at European University of Madrid (Spain).
Dr. Maldonado currently combines his clinical practice, with research and education in Madrid (Spain), Frankfurt (Germany) and Rochester (USA).

After specializing in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Getafe (Spain), she completed her super-specialization in microsurgery in one of the most prestigious hospitals in Europe: Akademiska Sjukhuset in Uppsala (Sweden).
Dr. Cristobal has more than 10 scientific publications (ORCID: 0000-0001-7328-4890). Besides, she is Affiliated Professor at the European University of Madrid (Spain).
In addition to her clinical and research activity in Madrid, being part of the lymphedema and brachial plexus unit, she is involved in the training of future specialists and medical students.
